Game Overview and Storyline

In 2033, the world has been devastated by an apocalyptic event, turning the surface into a toxic wasteland. A handful of survivors have taken refuge in the depths of the Moscow Metro, humanity’s last refuge. Cities within the metro system have become independent factions, fighting for survival and dominance. You are Artyom, a young man born just before the bombs fell, living in the VDNKh metro station. When a mysterious threat known as the Dark Ones begins attacking your station, you are tasked with venturing into the heart of the Metro to warn the others and find a way to save your people.

Your journey takes you through the forgotten tunnels, across the desolate wastelands, and into the very heart of the Metro system. You’ll encounter mutated creatures, hostile factions, and the ever-present threat of radiation. Moral choices you make throughout your journey will influence the outcome of the story, leading to one of two distinct endings.
