Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Sucker Punch Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Set on the island of Tsushima during the first Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274, the game follows the samurai Jin Sakai as he abandons his traditional samurai code to become the “Ghost,” a guerilla warrior fighting to liberate the island from the Mongol invaders. Storyline

In 1274, the island of Tsushima is the only thing standing between mainland Japan and a massive Mongol invasion fleet led by the ruthless Khotun Khan. The samurai of Tsushima, led by Lord Shimura, attempt to repel the invaders, but are decisively defeated. Jin Sakai, one of the few surviving samurai, is left for dead. He is rescued by Yuna, a thief, who helps him recover and introduces him to unconventional tactics.

Realizing that the traditional samurai methods are ineffective against the Mongols, Jin begins to adopt new strategies, including stealth, deception, and the use of tools and weapons not typically associated with samurai. This transformation makes him the “Ghost,” a figure feared by the Mongols and viewed with suspicion by some of his fellow samurai. Jin must make difficult choices, balancing his honor and tradition with the need to save his home. He gathers allies along the way, including skilled warriors, artisans, and farmers, all united by their desire to drive the Mongols from Tsushima. The game follows Jin’s journey as he masters the art of the Ghost, confronts Khotun Khan, and ultimately decides the fate of Tsushima.

Multiplayer Features
